As women, we have become completely disconnected from ourselves. We’ve lost touch with our natural rhythms, ignoring the whispers of our bodies until they become screams we can no longer silence.

We’ve hustled and climbed the corporate ladder, ensuring we never inconvenience anyone - never late due to a school drop-off meltdown, never letting on that we’re running on three hours of sleep after a restless night with our child.

We’re stressed out, strung out, juggling endless priorities - raising children, leading businesses, supporting aging parents, and saying “yes” when we really want to say “no.”

We are exhausted. Bone-achingly exhausted. Our minds are foggy, our emotions frayed, and we are teetering on the edge of burnout - one carelessly worded email or sideways glance from a partner away from tipping over completely.

And I know this because this was me. Until it wasn’t.

 Our retreat is also a working farm, so feel free to collect fresh eggs from the chickens, watch the playful antics of the goats, and snuggle with the Scottish Highland cows.

Mel Marsden

Hi, I’m Mel – a workplace strategist and business coach. 

I created this retreat because it’s exactly what I once needed—though I didn’t realize it at the time. 

Like so many ambitious women, I pushed through the relentless pace of life—juggling career demands, family responsibilities, and the constant pressure to do it all. Over time, the stress became my ‘normal,’ and without realizing it, I found myself in the darkness of body burnout and adrenal fatigue. 

It was here I began exploring a different way—one rooted in balance, nourishment, and deep restoration. By embracing practices that supported my nervous system, I was able to reclaim my energy, passion, and clarity, without sacrificing my family or business.  

My passion is helping women reconnect with themselves, tune into their intuition, and embrace simple, nourishing practices that bring clarity and ease. When we take the time to reset and realign, everything else—our work, our relationships, our sense of purpose—flows so much more effortlessly.
